Clean Origin™ is committed to delivering exceptional craftsmanship and quality in every piece of jewelry, backed by a lifetime guarantee that it will be free from manufacturing defects at the time of delivery.

All of our jewelry is manufactured using the very best materials and is thoroughly inspected prior to shipment. If you believe your item has a manufacturing defect, please email us with your order number, clear images of the jewelry and the area of concern, and any helpful details about how or when the issue was noticed. Our team will review the images and information provided to assess whether the issue may fall under our manufacturing warranty.

Please Note: Customers are responsible for taking reasonable steps to prevent further damage or potential loss.

If your jewelry is damaged due to a manufacturing defect, we will provide a prepaid insured shipping label and necessary paperwork so you can send the jewelry to us for repair at no cost to you. Clean Origin covers all shipping costs for warrantied repairs under the Clean Origin Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty.

If we determine that the damage is not caused by a manufacturing defect, we will send you an estimate for the repair. Upon your approval and payment, we will then provide the instructions, paperwork, and a prepaid insured shipping label for your item to be sent in for service.

All fine jewelry can be affected by normal wear, activities, or trauma. This is especially true for rings, since hands are actively used and rings are subject to daily stress. Our manufacturing warranty excludes coverage for wear and tear, loss of gemstones, product loss, or theft. Coverage also excludes damage or loss caused by a failure to obtain the repairs required to preserve the integrity of the jewelry. Some examples of common jewelry issues that would not be considered manufacturing defects include:

  • The discoloration of precious metals caused by chemicals, make-up, immersion in pools and hot tubs, or bathing.
  • Precious metals, and especially prongs, wear down over time and may require restoration work as part of normal wear.
  • Prongs catching, wearing out, or bending over time due to everyday wear or normal damage, allowing a gemstone to fall out.
  • The loss of a gemstone caused by damage from everyday wear or from other damage.
  • Loosening of clasps, safety latches, or links on tennis bracelets caused by regular movement and normal wear.

Once your repair is complete, your item will be returned in a new jewelry box.

(Please note: because we send your product back in a new box, we do not return the box you used in your return.)

If the item is no longer available, Clean Origin may, in its discretion, replace with like-kind of the original item.

Repair or service performed by a jeweler other than Clean Origin will void the warranty. The Clean Origin Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty does not cover damages caused by negligence, normal wear and tear, improper care, accident, discoloration of precious metals caused by chemicals, or the natural breakdown of materials over an extended time and use. The Clean Origin Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty only covers original and unaltered products.
